Long, softly rectangular links alternate with groups of three small curb links in this Victorian Figaro chain. The open spaces give its pattern a particularly clear rhythm, with narrow flattened surfaces catching bright lines of light along the 15ct Gold. Worn alone, the repeated long-and-short arrangement gives the chain its own decorative interest.
A later-added bolt-ring clasp completes the chain, its plain circular outline contrasting with the elongated links. At 7.5g, this is a lovely example of a design that combines an open appearance with a definite presence. The warm Gold and uncomplicated link pattern also make an appealing frame for a pendant.

ERA: Victorian (1837–1901). Later-added bolt-ring clasp.
MEASUREMENTS: Chain is 18" (45.5cm) long.
Links are 2.5mm wide.
WEIGHT: 7.5g.
MATERIALS: Tests as 15ct Gold chain, 9ct Gold bolt-ring.
STAMPS: 375 on the later-added bolt-ring clasp.
HALLMARKS: Since we have dated this piece as being made before 1950, a hallmark is not required in order for it to be sold in line with UK hallmarking legislation.
PACKAGING: Your order will be gift-wrapped free of charge in a Lillicoco cardboard box made from recycled materials, tied with a ribbon.
Condition
EXCELLENT: The long links retain their rounded rectangular outlines, with fine surface scratches along their flattened sides. The smaller curb links show darker traces at their joins. The later-added clasp has surface marks on its plain outer rim.

A layaway is an interest-free payment plan that enables you to reserve an item with an initial deposit, and then pay the balance over 60 days.
Layaway is very popular with Lillicoco customers, particularly when making a more considered purchase.
How It Works
In total, you will make three payments over three months:
Day 1: 33.33%
Day 30: 33.33%
Day 60: 33.33%
Your layaway purchase is reserved for you as soon as the initial payment has been taken.
Your order is shipped once the full balance has been paid.
All of our usual terms and conditions apply with a layaway purchase, although 15% of the invoice total is nonrefundable in case of cancellation or return, acting as an administration fee.
A layaway is not a loan, nor is it a form of credit. A credit check is not required to put an item on layaway, and missing a payment will not affect your credit score.
If you do not complete your layaway on schedule your reservation may be cancelled and your payments may be refunded, minus the administration fee.
