A poetic Georgian ring showcasing a beautifully domed Dendritic Agate cabochon, its inky fern-like inclusions suspended in a warm, creamy ground. The stone is framed by a close halo of petite old-cut Diamonds set in Silver, bringing a soft, antique sparkle that perfectly complements the naturalistic scene within the Agate.

Hand-fabricated collet settings and a refined two-tone palette of Silver and 9ct Gold lend this piece its unmistakably Georgian character. Delicate and romantic on the finger, the halo glimmers with approximately 0.25ct of Diamonds for a gentle, timeless luminosity.

MEASUREMENTS: Cluster is 13.5mm long x 12mm wide.
Agate is 10mm long x 9mm wide.
Diamonds measure approx. 1.5mm in diameter, weighing approx. 0.25ct combined.
Ring band is 1mm wide at the back.
WEIGHT: 2.9g.

MATERIALS: Tests as 9ct Gold, Silver settings, Dendritic Agate, Diamond (0.25ct).

HALLMARKS: Since we have dated this piece as being made before 1950, a hallmark is not required in order for it to be sold in line with UK hallmarking legislation.

PACKAGING: Your order will be gift-wrapped free of charge in a Lillicoco cardboard box made from recycled materials, tied with a ribbon.

Condition

GOOD: The Dendritic Agate shows light surface wear; the Diamond halo displays clouding, facet wear and a few tiny chips under magnification, with age-related darkening to the Silver collets. The slender 9ct Gold shank and hand-fabricated settings are secure with age-consistent wear, and there are visible historic hand-soldering/bench marks at the joins from original construction and/or later local work. Overall well-preserved for its age with no missing stones.
