The Star Sapphire is smoothly domed and securely held within its bezel setting. There is a minor crack on the Sapphire, but this is barely noticeable and can easily be forgiven, especially when considering her grand age. There does appear to be a repair behind the gemstone setting on the inside of the band, which cannot be seen when the ring is worn and does not impact the integrity of the piece. The 18ct Gold is saturated and smooth throughout, providing robust and comfortable wear.
