Raised scrolls sweep around both faces, with small textured recesses making the polished curves stand out. The unengraved centres give the ornate borders a beautifully calm backdrop.

Lift the hinged lid and a little compartment is revealed, with the hallmark group tucked along its upper edge. A ridged striker finishes the base, while the loop at the top offers a lovely way to wear the case on a chain.
