Commanding and beautifully crafted, this rare Victorian Sterling Silver studded bangle dates to 1878 and captivates with its bold, architectural presence. Three parallel rows of raised pyramidal studs are framed by delicate milgrain beading and rope borders, the high-relief silver catching the light with a sleek, sculptural shimmer. The inner surface is smooth and polished for comfort, while the generous width creates an unmistakable statement on the wrist.

Engineered with a hinge and secure box/tongue clasp that closes with a satisfying click, it marries drama with daily wearability. A graceful patina settles in the recesses, highlighting the crisp detail of the studwork. Fully hallmarked for Birmingham 1878 with the maker’s mark TS, this is a superb Victorian treasure with enduring modern appeal.

Clasp to hinge is 2 & 1/2" (6.4cm).
Bangle is 30mm wide.
WEIGHT: 46g.

MATERIALS: Tests as Sterling Silver.

HALLMARKS: The Lion Passant for Sterling Silver; Birmingham Assay Office; Gothic date letter "b" for 1878; Maker's mark "TS" (beneath the studded section). Lion Passant and "b" also struck to the opposing half.

PACKAGING: Your order will be gift-wrapped free of charge in a Lillicoco cardboard box made from recycled materials, tied with a ribbon.

Condition

VERY GOOD: The Silver shows light surface wear and a gentle patina that enhances the depth of the studded, milgrained design; details remain crisp and well-defined. The hinge and box/tongue clasp are secure and in good working order, closing with a clear click. No visible repairs or alterations.
